Melaniece was born and raised in Gary, Indiana. She attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale on a full basketball scholarship. She earned her Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University School of Law. Melaniece leads the firm’s litigation team, focusing on all aspects of divorce and custody matters. Melaniece’s favorite place to be is in the courtroom.

She is a seasoned litigator who believes there are few things better in life than a well-executed trial strategy.
